Biography

Last born in a family of four, grew up listening to Boys to men, Usher, Michael Jackson, Sisqo, 112, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey because of my 2 sisters. But it was through my big brother that I got introduced to Hip hop. Saw the video of "how come" by Canibus featuring Yousso Ndou and Wycleff Jean and from that day hip hop became the love of my life so I had to act too. It wasn't the beat or the hook but the picture that was painted in the lyrics. When my peers were on Nelly's dilemma I was being introduced to Krs one, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Black thought, Nas, Method Man & Redman, Lupe fiasco and last but not certainly least, Jedi mind tricks. Fast forward to 2008, I had a chance of meeting the other half of Dare devils whom we shared a lot about hip hop and gave me a bunch of albums and songs from Malawi. From WUN, Incyt, Dynamike, Dominant one, Erasto, The Basement, Aimor. I had to "exhale" the broken knowledge not knowing that my third eye made me "imagine being an emcee" but not knowing it. In his book, "the gospel of hip hop" Krs one made me understand that hip hop has to be preserved and respected despite the change of the waves. Through it I found a voice of reason, self worth, Malcom X, Marcus Garvey, Haile Selassie, Thomas Sankara, John Chilembwe just to name a few.
